Soaring Dreams Take Flight: Pryor High Celebrates Budding Pilots!

The skies are buzzing with excitement as Pryor High School's own Nicholas Rowland and Carsen Daneker take their first steps toward becoming full-fledged pilots. Both young men were recently awarded $2,000 scholarships, propelling them closer to their dreams of blue skies!

Nicholas, already a seasoned ground school graduate and FAA Medical Certification holder, has already begun his ascent with flying lessons through the Tulsa Aviation Group at Claremore Regional Airport. He's not stopping there, either! A proud recipient of a $2,500 scholarship from the Civil Air Patrol, Nicholas sets his sights on solo flight in the coming spring.

Carsen, fresh from securing his FAA Medical Certification, is diligently tackling ground school at Claremore Regional Airport. He'll soon join Nicholas in the sky, taking to the air for his first flying lessons this spring.

Pryor High School is so proud of these two dedicated and determined individuals. Their passion for aviation is an inspiration, and their commitment to achieving their goals is truly remarkable. The school eagerly anticipates the day they soar solo, marking a significant milestone in their journeys towards becoming pilots.
