What We Do

Tiger P.R.I.D.E. will be held each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (when school is in session). Rotation #4 will run from March 7 – April 29, 2024. Clubs begin at 3:30 p.m. and end at 5:30 p.m unless otherwise noted. Please, be aware that learners may be bussed to different sites to attend clubs. Students picked up early must be signed out at the club site. Positive behavior is expected. Improper conduct can lead to removal from clubs.

At Tiger PRIDE, our goal is to help our Pryor Elementary students develop their character through educational and recreational activities. We provide  a fun, supportive environment for our students to gain not only academically but socially as well. Our daily activities include a healthy snack, academics, homework help, and club activities, based on the specific club.

Tiger P.R.I.D.E.  Elementary Clubs

    •  The Pony Expresso, a friendly coffee shop, is struggling. Citizens are falling ill with a fainting disease and someone is plotting to turn the coffee shop into a train station! But hold your horses, this tale ends up with a happily ever after. Meets at Roosevelt; Pick-up Roosevelt’s back bus drive.

    • Colorguard is a dynamic performance art club where learners will begin to explore elements of dance, the use of flags, and how to work as a team. No previous experience is needed to be a part of this club. Pick-up Roosevelt, 4th St. Basketball Courts

    •  Learn and play the tabletop role-playing game of Dungeons and Dragons. This club encourages teamwork, problem- solving, and creative writing skills as learners play and create a story together. Pick-up at Roosevelt front circle drive.

    • Learn the basics of BMX bikes and racing, with opportunities to ride on the Mayes County BMX track. Equipment will be provided. Learners must wear long sleeves, jeans, and closed-toed shoes. Pick-up at 5:30PM. 526 Airport Rd Hwy 69.

    • Do you have an interest in dancing and cheerleading? Join us whether you have dance and cheer experience or none at all. The club consists of stretching, working on jumps, kicks, turns, and other hip hop and pom routines. We will do a performance at the end for parents. Pick-up LECC’s drive.

    • Do you love STEM or tinker toys? Come build with us! We have wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts and bolts, and ropes designed to engage the inquisitive minds. At Roosevelt. Pick up at Roosevelt front drive.

    • If you love to have fun creating and making art projects, this is the club to join! We will have fun working together with friends on different art styles and themes. Pick-up Roosevelt’s front drive.

    • Come join the fun as we learn the basics of sewing on a machine and learn how to make projects, such as aprons, pillowcases, tote bags, or even a small quilt. This is a great opportunity to create a gift for someone special. Pick-up high school’s front drive.

    •  In this hands-on introductory class, students will learn beginning piano skills and fundamentals of music literacy, including basic notation, rhythms, time signatures, and intervals. Pick-up Lincoln’s front drive.

    • Learn the basics of soccer and participate in fun and engaging soccer activities outdoors. Club will be led by the high school soccer coach and players. Pick up at Roosevelt, 4th St. by basketball courts.

    •  This club is designed to celebrate and explore the rich heritage of Native American culture. From traditional arts and crafts, storytelling, games, to dancing, we foster creativity. Join us in the journey of artistic discovery! Pick-up Lincoln’s back bus drive.

    •  A fitness club for girls focusing on strength, cardio, mobility, and flexibility. Learn how to workout in a fun and encouraging atmosphere! Get fit and have fun! (Strength will consist of bodyweight and bands only; no weights will be used.) Pick-up Roosevelt, 4th St. double doors.

    •  In this engaging curriculum, learners will examine the STEAM side of fishing and the fishing industry. They will learn the science and engineering behind equipment, advances in equipment technology, analyze different casting techniques, design and build lures, study the effect the sun/moon have on tides/feeding, read/draw lake maps, and perform data analysis on different fishing lines. The curriculum incorporates critical thinking skills, as well as social and emotional learning through group and partner-based projects. Pick-up at Lincoln’s Front Drive

    • Become a karate kid. Being able to use compassion, wisdom, and peaceful behavior is ultimately the best defense. Karate training can be applied to all aspects of life. Self control and wisdom are key. Come join us! There will be opportunities to grow and receive a white belt with a stripe! Pick up at Roosevelt, 4th St. double doors.

    • Learning about horses from day to day care, anatomy, grooming, nutrition, shoeing, exercise and training. Learners will also ride horses. This club meets in Spavinaw and will not return until 6:15 PM at Roosevelt back bus drive.

    • Do you like to run short or long distances? We will do running drills, game running drills, and cross country workouts. Training will be at the H.S. track. Pick-up H.S. track, 1110 SE 9th St.

    • In this club learners will engage with their curiosity by digging in the dirt and practicing hands-on gardening. They will visit the Pryor Community Garden on Mondays and Tuesdays, where they will be able to plant and harvest what they grow! Learners will learn about proper nutrition/ recipe education to take home to their families. This club will also meet at the Mayes County Fairgrounds on Thursdays. Learners must be picked up at 207 W Graham on Monday and Tuesday at 5:30, and at the fairgrounds (2200 NE First St.) on Thursdays at 5:30.

Tiger P.R.I.D.E.  Middle School Clubs

  • Learn the basics of BMX biking and racing with opportunities to ride daily on the Mayes County BMX track. Equipment is provided. Learners must wear long sleeves, jeans, and closed toed shoes. Parents pick-up at 5:30PM at Mayes County BMX track. 526 Airport Rd Highway 64. Limit 3 per grade. Be prepared to interview in order to attend this club. 

  • Do You know how to skate or want to learn how? Join us at Skate Party Play to play games, exercise, and skate with friends. Equipment is provided and learners must be picked up at 5:30 at 339 W. Graham Ave.

  • Students will be introduced into the world of cooking. Students will learn to follow basic recipes and create delicious meals and desserts that are student friendly. 

  • Color guard is a dynamic performance art club where learners will begin to explore elements of dance, the use of flags, and how to work as a team. No previous experience is needed to be a part of this club. 

  • Do you have an interest in dancing? Join us whether you have dance experience or none at all. The club consists of stretching, working on jumps, kicks, turns, and other hip hop and Pom routines. This club meets at Lincoln. Pickup is at LECC circle drive at 5:30.

  • This club provides students a chance to compete in their favorite computer video games in a safe, structured environment. Learners will also learn about the opportunities within E-sports at both the high school and college level. Games include farm simulator, Fortnite, Rocket league and Smash brothers.

  • Learn and play the tabletop role-playing game of Dungeons and Dragons. This club encourages teamwork, problem solving and creative thinking skills as learners play and create a story together.

  • Learners will work alongside our school tech department to fix chromebooks from all across the district.  Learners will also learn how to build their own custom gaming computers and get hands-on experience in computer building and programming. 

  • The Art Club is a place for practicing artists to hone in on their skills, develop their techniques, and collaborate with peers as they practice varying art skills with staff that love art as much as they do.

  • Learn how to build your own custom gaming computer with the guidance of experienced technicians. You’ll gain valuable skills in problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration, all while having fun and engaging with peers who share your passion for gaming and technology. Get hands-on experience in computer building and programming. cc

  • Come join the fun and create computer art! Explore a new world of digital art by using Photoshop, Premier Pro, and Canva. Learn to remove backgrounds, edit photos & videos, create memes, or even fan art. The options are endless in our computer lab. We want to see how creative you can be on the computer!   

  • Learn how to play basic card games using a standard deck of cards in a fun, friendly, atmosphere. Games include: Hearts, Spit, War, Golf, Speed, etc. This is not a trading card games club ( MTG or Pokemon).
