This week Jefferson 3rd through 5th graders learned about different careers from community members who work locally. Thank you Pryor Fire Department, Terry Thompson with RAE Corporation, Hannah Giddeon with Crossland Construction, Ruth Miller (Nurse) , Kennedy Fannin (Hairdresser), and Grace Rutherford (Pilot). When students develop a passion for a future career path, they can apply that passion to learning and growth in the classroom. We can't wait to see the positive impact our students will make in their future careers!

We Love Our Paraprofessionals! Paraprofessionals—often called “paras,” teacher’s aides, or instructional assistants—are known for being the backbone of support in classrooms. They play a crucial role in helping teachers provide effective instruction and in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Thank you for all that you do!

📣 Attention PHS Families! 📅 Juniors will take the ACT on Wednesday, April 9th at the high school. Testing will begin promptly at 8:10 AM. 🎓 All other students will have a virtual day if they have completed their ICAP requirements. 📌 These state tests are required for graduation, so it’s important that juniors are present and on time. The testing window is short and makeup opportunities are limited. 🎓 All other students will have a virtual day if they have completed their ICAP requirements. Thank you for supporting our students during testing season! 🐾

This Tiger is an Artistic Star!* 🎨✨ Marie, a Pryor High School sophomore, has been lighting up the library with her beautiful painting of a star-filled sky. Inspired by Van Gogh, her artwork is a highlight of Hobby Month. But Marie’s impact goes beyond her masterpiece—she launched this program to give students and staff a place to enjoy and display their creative hobbies. Thanks to her leadership, the library is now shining with student-created projects. #PryorTigerStrong
