This week Jefferson 3rd through 5th graders learned about different careers from community members who work locally. Thank you Pryor Fire Department, Terry Thompson with RAE Corporation, Hannah Giddeon with Crossland Construction, Ruth Miller (Nurse) , Kennedy Fannin (Hairdresser), and Grace Rutherford (Pilot). When students develop a passion for a future career path, they can apply that passion to learning and growth in the classroom. We can't wait to see the positive impact our students will make in their future careers!

Tiger Artisan Honored in Art Show! Braycee Trundle is helping keep culture alive through art. As a Cherokee Language student, Braycee entered the Five Civilized Tribes Museum Student Art Show and wove her way to the top! She earned First Place with her twined bag and received an Honorable Mention for her beautifully crafted turtle basket. #PryorTigerStrong

We’re excited to share that our Tiger Pride Afterschool Program clubs are off to an amazing start this rotation! From gaining new skills in Kuk Sool Won to saddling up in the Horseback Riding Club, students are diving into all kinds of exciting experiences. Whether it’s hands-on projects, creative arts, sports, or something new, our students are engaged, learning, and having a blast! 💥🎨⚽🐎

We Love Our Paraprofessionals! Paraprofessionals—often called “paras,” teacher’s aides, or instructional assistants—are known for being the backbone of support in classrooms. They play a crucial role in helping teachers provide effective instruction and in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Thank you for all that you do!

📣 Attention PHS Families! 📅 Juniors will take the ACT on Wednesday, April 9th at the high school. Testing will begin promptly at 8:10 AM. 🎓 All other students will have a virtual day if they have completed their ICAP requirements. 📌 These state tests are required for graduation, so it’s important that juniors are present and on time. Pryor Public Schools is proud to be among the 107 school districts that received part of a generous $7.6 million contribution from the Cherokee Nation during the 2025 Public School Appreciation Day, held Tuesday with area educators at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa. We appreciate the ongoing support of the Cherokee Nation. Their donation supports opportunities for students across our district.

3rd-5th grade parents, Tiger PRIDE Afterschool Program begins today for the elementary sites. Please pick-up your child at their club location at 5:30 p.m.

Tiger PRIDE middle school clubs will begin today, March 3. Rotation #4 for our elementary clubs will not begin until this Thursday, March 6.

3rd-12th grade parents, Tiger PRIDE Afterschool Program parent letters are going home today. This letter states the location and pick-up location of your child's club, along with times for pick-up.

This Tiger is an Artistic Star!* 🎨✨ Marie, a Pryor High School sophomore, has been lighting up the library with her beautiful painting of a star-filled sky. Inspired by Van Gogh, her artwork is a highlight of Hobby Month. But Marie’s impact goes beyond her masterpiece—she launched this program to give students and staff a place to enjoy and display their creative hobbies.
