On Tuesday, March 25, Pryor High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) members, along with their advisor Bea Roberson, traveled to Covelle Hall on the Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT) campus in Okmulgee to attend the Women in Industry Event.
This event welcomed over 300 students from across the region to explore STEM careers and discover opportunities in various industries. Attendees engaged with industry leaders, tried on safety gear, and even rode in lift equipment used in real-world fieldwork.
Pryor BPA students walked through hands-on exhibits, observed live demonstrations, and networked with industry partners. A highlight of the day was a panel discussion featuring six women leaders in the STEM industry who shared their experiences and insights on working in industrial fields.
