During the week of February 25, 2025, Pryor FFA celebrated National FFA Week with a variety of activities focused on community service, school spirit, and friendly competition. Although winter weather delayed the original plans by a week, the rescheduled events were a huge success.
The week kicked off on Tuesday with a fun spirit day as students dressed like an agriculture teacher. That evening, members gave back to the community through Crafting Kindness for Lisa Bain Ministries, creating heartfelt cards to encourage individuals experiencing homelessness, battling cancer, and others in need of support. Additionally, five Pryor FFA members volunteered to serve dinner at the Cattlemen’s Association meeting that night.
Of course, FFA Week wouldn’t be complete without a cookout! Members and staff enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, and hot links.
To wrap up the week, 24 Pryor FFA members attended the Mayes County Ag Olympics at the Mayes County Fairgrounds. Events included an egg toss, hay relay race, tug-of-war, and feed sack race. The Pryor FFA Girls Team brought home the 1st place banner, and everyone left with great memories and new friendships.
Thank you to all the members and supporters who made this year’s FFA Week one to remember!
