Roosevelt Elementary staff gathered in the library to celebrate one of their own with a much-deserved honor. Principal Brian Bradshaw announced that the Roosevelt teachers had selected Aimee Weston as the 2025 Roosevelt Elementary Teacher of the Year.
Colleagues praised Mrs. Weston for her unwavering dedication, noting that she gives 100 percent to her students and goes above and beyond what is required. She is a passionate educator who loves her job and her students, creating a classroom environment filled with kindness and humor. Her ability to connect with students makes her a beloved teacher, and she takes pride in fostering growth in each one.
Mrs. Weston will now advance to the 2025 District Teacher of the Year competition.
