Get ready to smile for the camera! School pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, August 23rd for Roosevelt learners.
Roosevelt Arrival/Departure/Cafe Info
*Arrival:
a. Car riders and walkers will enter the west front entry doors starting by 8:00 a.m.
b. Everyone except bus riders will enter the main entrance on the west side. Bus students will enter the east entrance after being dropped off in the bus lane.
c. If you choose, you may walk your child into the building. On your child’s first day of school, you may walk them to class. If you walk them into the building, please do not park in the circle drive, which if for drop-off and pick-up only.
*Breakfast
a. we will serve breakfast when the doors open through 8:20 a.m. Students eating breakfast will go directly to the cafeteria upon entering the building. After the students finish eating, they will be dismissed to their designated locations.
*Lunch
a. We have a staggered lunch period from 10:55-12:40.
b. Each grade level will have a team of adults assigned to their lunch in order to assist with seating, cleaning, and dismissal.
c. Students may bring their own lunch from home, but food deliveries during the lunch period are not permitted.
*Dismissal:
a. 3:20 p.m. K4/KG car riders will be picked up in the south parking lot.
b. 3:20 p.m. Bus riders will be led by one or two staff members in each pod who will lead them to the buses where they will be matched with their siblings.
c. 3:25 p.m. Car riders/walkers dismissed
- 1st/2nd at the north parking lot
- 3rd/4th at the west circle drive
- 5th at the south parking lot
d. Sibling are always dismissed to the youngest sibling pick-up location.
*Early Release Fridays
a. 2:10 Dismissal
b. Students will be dismissed from their usual locations.
c. Buses will run at 3:25 p.m.
d. Students needing to stay will be supervised.
