Board of Education
The Pryor Public Schools Board of Education is responsible for adopting policies, overseeing the budget, and monitoring the district’s progress. Board members are elected to serve five-year terms, with each member representing a specific ward within the school district.
To serve, board members must reside within the district, maintaining a close connection to the community they represent. Through their leadership and oversight, the Pryor Board of Education ensures the district continues to thrive and meet its strategic objectives.

Voted to approve the Resolution for Schools and Libraries Universal Services (E-Rate) for 2025- 26. This resolution authorizes filing of the Form 471 applications for funding year 2025-26 and the payment of the applicant's share upon approval of funding and receipt of services.
Voted to approve Change Order #1, a deductive change order in the amount of $131,168.24, for the Pryor Maintenance Facility project.
Voted to approve declaring Board of Education Seat 1 to be vacant.
Superintendent's Report
April is both Paraprofessional Appreciation and Assistant Principal Appreciation month. In addition, Afterschool professionals and administrative assistants have recognition weeks or days this month. We greatly appreciate the work these staff members do to keep things running smoothly in the district and to assist our students in learning.
Congratulations to the following basketball players who were named to the 5A-4 All District Team: Brynna Wiginton and Jonah Daily and to those who received Honorable Mention: Maggie Martin, Peyton Marlett, Anna Raymond, Tayla Vance, Caylee Kerr, Nevaeh Chupp, and Journey Nunley.
Congratulations to the High School Mixed Choir and Treble Choir. Both choirs made 1s on stage and in sight-reading, earning the sweepstakes plaque again this year.
Congratulations to the Pryor Middle School Academic Team for bringing home the OJABA 7th/8th Grade State Championship! Team members for this first-ever Pryor academic team state championship are Allison Peters, Nolan Brown, Eli Best, Aiden Epps, Avery Raper, Avery Webster, and team manager Heath Jenkins. They are coached by Heather Braucher and Kaleb Trowbridge.
