Employee Benefits at PPS
Health insurance benefit of $679.62.28 monthly, or $8,155.44 annually, when enrolled in a plan through the state (EGID/OMES).
Vision insurance benefit of up to $10.00 month, or $120.00 annually, when enrolled in a plan through the state (EGID/OMES).
District provided life insurance policy of $25,000.00 through Mutual of Omaha.
Teacher Retirement Service benefit of 7% is paid for by the district. This is mandatory for certified, but optional for support employees.
Certified employees receive the TRS offset. The amount received depends on years of service.
Employees have the opportunity to enroll in a 403 or 457 retirement program through Focus Financial. The district will match up to $100.00 per month when the employee chooses to participate.
