Lincoln 1st - 5th Class Dismissal
A Safer More Organized System
ALL students walking home will be released at 3:23 each day. (This includes crossing Elliott to Centennial Park.)Once walkers have cleared, we will begin loading students for the car pickup lane. to expedite our car pickup lane, we will now have two lanes once you have entered the loop. Please refer to the image.
During this time, we will have staff positioned outside with two-way radios to communicate with the staff inside. Students will be seated in the hallway and will be called before leaving the building.
Each student will be given a tag at the beginning of the school year or upon enrollments. This tag will be color coded based on grade level and will have your child’s name. If you have multiple children, each name will be on one tag. Please have this tag visible when picking up your child. Once the outside staff sees your tag they will radio for your child. If you do not have a car tag, please be ready to present an ID to pick up your child.
The two lanes will increase the efficiency of the line, but we do ask that you please stay in your vehicle. A staff member will bring your child to your car and once the line is loaded, a staff member will direct the traffic to exit the loop.
Please be patient with us during the first as we will have an increased number of parents utilizing the car pickup line.
Tiger PRIDE After School Enrollment Begins August 11
Handle with Care
If your child is experiencing difficulties at home, we would like to provide additional support at school. We understand that you are not always able to share details and that is okay. If your child is coming to school after a difficult night, morning, or weekend, please text or email us “Handle with Care” with your child’s name. Nothing else will be said or asked. This will let us know that your child may need extra time, patience, or help during the day. We will relay this message to his/her teachers to let them know to proceed with extra care.
